third edition of "Tony for the Future Stars" scholarship program is launching!
Another year, another set of athletic dreams, and another group of young talents we want to help spread their wings! We are thrilled to announce launch of third edition of the Tony for the Future Stars scholarship program!
It has been over two years since Antoni passed away. Although we can no longer follow his athletic journey, we want his passion, ambition, and dreams to continue inspiring future generations of young athletes.
It is out of this need that the Tony for the Future Stars program was born. An initiative that not only commemorates Antek, but above all gives young athletes a real opportunity to grow, realize their ambitions, and take the next step toward fulfilling their dreams.
After two editions, we are back with even greater motivation! Ahead of us lies another year of supporting the future stars of American football and flag football in Poland!
What have we prepared for the 2027 season?
In third edition of program, we have prepared 5 sports scholarships.
Each scholarship includes:
- PLN 600 per month
- 12 months of support
- A total of PLN 7,200 dedicated to athletic development of each recipient.
Additionally, for the best beneficiary of the season, the foundation will award a special prize – two tickets to a selected NFL International Series game played in Europe!
“The second year of the Tony and Astra Foundation’s activity was a time filled with athletic excitement, new challenges, and the success of young talents. We fulfilled our mission by accompanying the scholarship recipients in developing their passion for American football, honing their sports skills, and achieving personal growth. Janek, Kacper, Krystian, Kuba, and Tomek, along with their teams, took on new challenges, competing in junior and senior leagues, representing Poland, and developing their skills on fields in the United States. Their year-long experience and achievements are a source of pride for us and proof that it is worth investing in young talents and helping them achieve their sports dreams.
I would like to thank the members of our panel for their commitment as they once again undertake the task of selecting the scholarship recipients for 2027.” – Ewa Wróbel
Who can participate in the program?
The program is open to American football and flag football players born between 2007 and 2011.
We are looking for young individuals who stand out for their exceptional talent, immense passion, determination, and exemplary sportsmanship. We want to support players who have the potential to reach the top national level in the future.
You don't need to be a star yet. We want to spot potential that is ready to shine!
Coaches' Panel – Experience and Knowledge from Across Poland
Just like in the previous edition, candidates will be evaluated by a group of experienced American football and flag football coaches. We aim for an objective, comprehensive evaluation of each player, which is why various clubs and sports communities are represented on the panel.
How do we select the scholarship recipients?
Stage I – Athletic Evaluation
A team of coaches from all over Poland will evaluate applications and video highlights demonstrating the players' skills. Factors taken into account will include talent, technique, physical preparation, development potential, and on-field attitude.
Stage II – Interviews with Coaches
The 10 highest-rated candidates will be invited to online interviews with the coaches. After the interviews, the panel will select the 5 players who will receive scholarships for the 2027 season.
