Privacy policy

The Warsaw Eagles website has no user accounts, no shop and no visitor analytics. Below we explain which personal data reach us or our providers when you use the site or write to us.

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Warsaw Eagles Sp. z o.o., ul. Książęca 19/3, 00-498 Warsaw, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7010270874 (the “Club”, “we”).

For anything related to your personal data, email us at office@warsaweagles.com or write to the Club's registered address.

What we process and why

  • Correspondence — the contact form and the Rookies sign-up store nothing on the website: they open your email app with a ready message. Once you send it, we process the data in it (e.g. name, email address, the message and, for Rookies, age and experience) to reply and handle your request — on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for practice sign-ups, to take steps before entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Running the website — the server hosting the site automatically records technical connection data (incl. IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type). We use it to operate and secure the site — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Adobe Fonts. Your browser connects to Adobe's servers, which receive your IP address and a page-view count (for font licensing).
  • External content — the Google map, YouTube videos (in privacy-enhanced mode) and Instagram content load only after you click to show them. From then on their provider receives data from your browser under its own privacy policy.

Tickets

Match tickets are sold through external services (Evenea, eventim.pl) — the buttons on our site link to them, and you enter your data directly there. If, as the match organiser, we receive buyers' data from the operator (e.g. an attendee list), we process it to organise the event and control admission (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Recipients

Data may be shared with companies that provide services to us:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting;
  • Adobe Inc. — fonts (Adobe Fonts);
  • the Club's email provider — handling correspondence;
  • Google, YouTube and Instagram (Meta) — only when you choose to show their content on the site.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of these providers are based in the USA. Transfers then rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

How long we keep data

  • correspondence — until the matter is closed, then for the limitation period of any claims;
  • technical server data — for the short time the hosting provider keeps its logs;
  • ticket buyers' data received from the operator — until the event is settled and for the period required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy;
  • have your data corrected;
  • have your data erased or its processing restricted;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • data portability — where we process data under a contract;
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

Providing data

Providing data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply to your message.

Cookies

The site stores one essential cookie in your browser with your language choice (Polish or English). We use no analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie policy for details.

Changes

We will update this policy when the site gains new features — such as an online shop or a newsletter. The current version is always available on this page.
