During today’s AFLE Honors ceremony, the Warsaw Eagles were officially introduced as a new franchise set to join the league for the 2027 season.
The official announcement was delivered by Paul Kuśmierz, sponsor of the team, introducing the Warsaw Eagles as the latest organization to strengthen the league’s competitive landscape from next season.
This marks an important moment for the organization and another significant step in the development of the Warsaw Eagles on the European football map.
AFLE League was founded in 2025. Financially established teams with a strong desire to further develop and professionalize American football have decided to join the new competition, which aims to take a professional approach and set new standards in European football.
The league is led by Moritz Heisler, AFLE’s Managing Director, who has stated from the outset that the league is focused on professionalization and building competitiveness.
The announcement of the Warsaw Eagles just before the Gold Bowl final game is particularly significant because tomorrow at 3:30 PM, another Polish team will be competing in this match – Panthers Wrocław, a long-time European team with a chance to win the championship this year. We strongly encourage you to watch the match and support the Polish team.
